The Boots Monitored Dosage System (MDS) aims to provide a free, easy to use medication administration system, with full training and ongoing advice and audits from our expert pharmacy team.
The System delivers a four-week supply of each individual patients tablets and capsules in packs, to be taken at the time and dates shown. The pill packs are colour coded for the time of day so the carer can quickly tell when the medication should be administered.
Medicines are placed in separate compartments allowing the patient to be given the correct dose at the correct time.
Reminder cards are included to ensure that the carer does not forget any medicines that are not packed in the system (like liquids)
Computer generated medication records help to ensure there is a clear audit trail for the medication management process, including receipts, administration and return of all medication.
Customised service level agreements – meaning that medications are supplied to meet your needs, whether traditionally dispensed or individually sealed in our market leading Monitored Dosage System, racked by individual or by home.
