| ArtSystems acquire The Protector – the ultimate in theft deterrent technology | ||

ArtSystems have added the Protector to their range of innovative products. The Protector is an XGA digital data projector, which offers the latest in ‘secure from theft’ projection technology. The Protectors front panel is removed and taken away, the projector remains in the classroom. The power source remains switched on it works via the remote control. The projector will be disarmed when the power is switched off at the mains or the plug is removed from its socket. As soon as this happens, the projector will not re-boot until the operating panel is replaced.
